SPA Etiquette & FAQ

Reservation and Payment Policy:

  • InSPArations maintains a 24 hour cancellation policy. Thus, InSPArations will charge your credit card 24 hours prior to service date. If you choose to cancel services within 24 hours of your appointment, you are responsible for paying the full service fee. This policy is in place 1. to protect the safety of our team as we verify billing address with the credit card info and 2. to compensate for any lost work due to late cancellations. Therapists schedule off other jobs to take yours, so this policy is a courtesy to our therapists.
  • Reservations need to be made at least 24 hours in advance for individual treatments and 1 week advance notice for spa parties. Rush service under 24 hrs are based on availablity and are an additinal rush fee of $25.
  • Reservations can be made online through a free membership. Of course we also have a phone based reservation system.
  • There is a $100 minimum for home spa services.
  • We require a credit card at the time of booking in order to reserve the appointment.
    At InSPArations the safety and comfort of our practitioners & clients is of our utmost concern. This policy provides an extra layer of security in which we may verify the card holder’s identity prior to the visit. This also protects InSPArations from fraudulent activity. Your card will not be charged at the time you place your service request, but rather 24 hours before the scheduled services.
  • For spa parties we require 50% of payment to reserve the date. Any cancellations after service is confirmed results in forfeit of reservation fee. Cancellation under 72hrs prior to party date results in payment due in full and will be charged to the credit card on file. This policy is in place to compensate for any lost work due to late cancellations. InSPArations staff has already performed several hours of work coordinating your party by this point and therapists schedule off other jobs to take yours.
  • You must provide an appropriate location, environment and access in order for mobile services to be provided.
  • InSPArations does not accept cash for services, but our spa technicians may accept a cash gratuity (tip).
  • Please DO NOT solicte work directly from our practitioners. We have a non-compete agreement in place which prevents therapists legally from working with you directly. Therapists are specifically instructed to decline any such offers.
    Please repect our hard work and dedication to superior standards in service. Thank you.

Gratuities
If you are pleased with the services you have received, it is customary to give a 15% to 20% gratuity to your Spa Technician. For Spa Parties a 15% gratuity is added to the total cost of service.

Age Requirement
Clients must be at least 16 years of age. Clients under the age of 16 must have adult supervision.

Home Spa Process
You let us know the dates and times that would be best for you to have a Home Spa Treatment or Spa Party. We will schedule a therapist(s) who is available for one of those times. Once a time has been scheduled we will call you back to confirm (your credit card will not be charged until the day before your appointment). For spa parties a deposit of 50%of the total is required to hold the reservation. An e-mail confirmation will be sent with all the details of your treatment or spa party.


We will provide standard Intake-Consent forms for any services over 15mins. These can be filled out on-site or can be emailed and filled out prior to our arrival. All forms must be received before service can begin. This information is important to your therapist so they can better know you and any medical issues, allergies etc. Thank you.

Some treatments are performed on a massage table. Manicures and pedicures are done on a chair or couch. The Spa Technician(s) will arrive 15-30 minutes prior to your appointment for set up. At that time please inform your technician of anything that was not mentioned at the time the reservation was made. Our spa technicians are equipped with a massage table, towels, sheets, everything necessary to perform a home spa therapy.

Our Spa technicians take great care in insuring your privacy. Therefore, all body treatments are done dressed to your level of comfort. We usually recommend a 2 piece bathing suit if you are uncomfortable with being nude. It is recommended that you shower prior to a body treatment.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

InSPArations practitioners DO NOT diagnose illness, disease or any other medical disorder. As such, practitioners DO NOT provide medical treatment or pharmaceuticals. Any services provided are not a substitution for medical treatment and one should see a physician for any physical ailment that one might have. Because practitioners must be aware of any existing physical conditions, you must state all medical conditions including pregnancy and take it up on yourself to keep practitioners updated on your physical health. You assume all risk for your health and hold harmless InSPArations and any associated business entities, practitioners or any persons involved in services performed.

Our Spa technicians may refuse a treatment if any of the following apply:

  • Any medical conditions exist that were not mentioned at time of reservation
  • Broken skin or lesions exist that could interfere with the service
  • Inappropriate conduct of the client occurs. Services rendered are strictly non-sexual and that misconduct of any kind [i.e.: physical, sexual, verbal] is subject to full prosecution of the law.
